CONSIDER THEM GONE®
TEXAS ANT EXTERMINATION 101

Ants are some of the most interesting pests. They are also some of the easiest pests to get rid of. The key to eliminating ants, is to eliminate the colony as a whole. AMDRO® is your answer. Although AMDRO® says that is is for use with fire ants, it works with ALL kinds of ants. It is basically a food that the workers feed to the queen and poisons her. The colony cannot survive without the queen. Ants should be concerned, and so should the exterminators. For about $5-$10 you can have your ant problem eliminated without any pesticides being sprayed. Why spend $75 or more for an ant pest control specialist when you can use AMDRO® and eliminate those ants yourself.

Mutillidae, or more commonly known as velvet ants, are actually not ants but are a family of wasps whose wingless females resemble ants. The name "velvet ant" refers to their furry backs, which can be white, black, orange, silver, red, or gold colored. They are well known for having an extremely painful sting. Their preferred habitat is desert and sandy areas. They are found in Texas and several other states.

The red imported fire ant is the main target for AMDRO®.

They are apparently attracted to electrical equipment and crawl into air conditioning units and the electrical wiring of stop lights, shorting them out. This is the leading cause of traffic light shorts in Texas, where the ants cause more than US$140 million in damage each year.

Ants, yellow jackets, fire ants, termites, spiders, mice, snakes, fleas, roaches, cockroaches, can be exterminated without paying a pest control company.
