CONSIDER THEM GONE® Rodent Elimination
When you find a mouse, 99.9% of the time, there are many more mice. A house mouse is virtually harmless and more of a nuisance than anything else. In 2008, the easiest way to get rid mice is still the old school mouse trap. The two most common traps are your standard wood snap mouse trap that kills them instantly, and sticky glue traps. Many people consider these traps as inhumane because the victim walks into the trap and gets glued to it. The mouse then dies of starvation after you throw him in your garbage can. With this method, you don't have to him with his guts hanging out. Whichever method you choose, don't be a sissy and be scared of a little mouse. Setting several traps in places such as behind couches, fridges, and especially in garages, are the most likely places to catch these little pests.
The Rattus norvegicus, also called the sewer rat, is a rodent pest found in urban and suburban neighborhoods. These rodents contaminate food and damage structures and property by gnawing and burrowing. According to the CDC rats spread diseases such as Rat-bite fever (RBF), Leptospirosis, Murine Typhus, and many more.
Rat Infestations
Rats can be detected by their droppings or evidence of gnawing. Sometimes you can find foot prints on dusty surfaces. Burrows may be found. A burrow is a chamber connected to the outside by a short tunnel, or a large complex burrow can have interconnecting tunnels, passages, and cavities.
Rats that live in groups of two or more develop a hierarchy. The TOP rat of this hierarchy is the most dominant rat. This rat is called the alpha rat. In a large group of rats there is chain of command. The alpha rat has a second in command, who does most of the work for him.
