Have you gotten stung by a yellow jacket before? Then you know exactly how painful it is. Do you know if you are allergic to them? Some humans are highly allergic and in somecase be LIFE THREATENING! In order to exterminate and kill yellow jackets, you need to locate their nest. Did you know that these pests live UNDERGROUD? Compost piles and grass clippings are ideal places for them to grow a nest. They like the warmth and how soft it is. Sometimes a nest will consist of just a few or as many as HUNDREDS of yellow jackets. To kill yellow jackets, you must wait until they are in their nest.

Yellow jackets usually return to their nest in the early evening when it starts to get dark. This is the perfect time to watch them and see where they are living at and eliminate them.

Exterminate them yourself and save that money year after year on exterminators. How do you eliminate the nest? BLEACH. Bleach is safe and will not harm the environment. Gasoline will also work, but it's "technically" illegal. So for approximately $1.25 you can exterminate those annoying pest and their nest. Pour a gallon of bleach on their nest and they will all die and your problem is gone. Bleach is environmentally friendly.
